Lead Educator

Emerald, QLD

Permanent, Full-time

As a Lead Educator, you are an integral member of our early years education community, you will play a crucial role in leading our Assistant Educators and guiding children to play, learn, and grow. This role is a collaborative one, working with other Educators within the centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You will prioritise the needs of the children, their safety, and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or close to completion (less than 6 months), or

  • Currently studying a Bachelor of Education

Assistant Educator

Emerald, QLD

Permanent, Full-time

As an Assistant Educator you play a vital role in our children’s learning and development,
building bonds with our young friends and their families. This is a collaborative role that
requires you to work as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for the children in our
care. This role also requires you to contribute to documenting children's progress and
ensuring that the learning environment aligns with regulatory and safety standards by
working with your Lead Educator. An Assistant Educator assists with daily routines, including
meals, hygiene, and rest times, all while fostering positive relationships with children. You will
prioritise the needs of the children, their safety, and ensure all learning experiences are
inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or close to completion (less than 6 months), or

  • Diploma in Early Years Education or close to completion (less than 6 months)
